Real ID.  I consider myself pretty well-informed and just heard about this travesty last week when the ACLU held a town hall-type meeting in my town.  Apparently this national ID card was ataached to a defense spending bill with out it being read or debated or anything and here we are on the verge of it being enacted.  And this was in 2005!  Sheesh!

I find the ACLU's involvement in the "separation of church and state" rulings interesting, to see how far the government will go before realizing it is infringing on freedom of religion.

I always find it funny how much the ACLU claims to care about constitutionality, but completely ignores the 2nd Amendment.  But they do a d**n fine job on the 1st & 4th (usually), I must say.
