What are some cool crafts to make for a girl teen's room?

At the craft store, craft section of most Walmarts and even at some home improvement stores(Home Depot, etc), you can find large wooden letters. Get the initial for her name, then get some silk flowers, rhinestones, ribbon and a small bottle of paint, all in coordinating colors.

Step 1: Paint the letter. This will disguise any gaps left by the next step.

Step 2: Pull the silk flowers off the stems, and glue or hot glue to the letter. You can also find unstemmed silk flowers in most scrapbooking sections now.

Step 3: Glue the ribbon around the edge of the letter if you didn't glue flowers there. You can also tack the ribbon into a loop on the back of the letter for hanging.

Step 4: Glue rhinestones in the centers of the flowers. This makes them sparkle, as well as hiding the hole in the flower.

Once all the glue is dried, the letter is ready to hang on her wall! Super cute, and can be finished in an afternoon.
