What are some cool late-night hangouts in Portland and the surrounding area?

I'm looking for some new places to hang out this summer in the late evenings. Pleaces like the Montage or Rimsky's that are open pretty late ( preferably atleast midnight). I like quirky atmosphere and good food/drink doesn't hurt. Any suggestions?

Have you been to Roadhouse (next to the Basement Pub) yet?

The Pied Cow is also good for hanging out (I'm assuming you're an eastsider here).

Also the Side Street on Belmont makes awesome tater tots but it's a little smoky

I am a big fan of The Lowbrow.  Kooky atmosphere, carny food (mini corndogs, tatertots etc...) and stiff drinks= good time.  I loathe how smoky it is, but I hear that smoking in public places is on it's way out in Portland.  If you are looking for something a little nicer, Doug Fir has a great fireplace outside and has great food too.

Go to http://www.allclubvip.com and check out their Bar/Club area.  It's a little social networking site for the Portland Nightlife and they have all the clubs and bars on an interactive map.  Plus you can get VIP to events ;)
