What do you consider cool George?

Their are several things you could choose from here or at least near by. I am in Weimar. But currently I am staying as a host in Washington DC until the Fall.

Kasser Turm is fun! Yes their is Buchenwald but I do not consider that fun. Several castles in the area too that you could see.

It really depends on what you consider cool.

Eisenach Castle though its a bit of a trip and I think JUST out side of Thuringia but its close enough and where Martin Luther was held hostage.

Their is sadly Buchenwald near Weimar a sad memorial.

A great Napoleonic museum center in Jena and great concerts in Erfurt.

Wuertburg Schloss was my favorite local one it has a HUGE head of a Dog large than any I have ever seen!!

Kasser Turm is a AWESOME night club in Weimar and it is right at Ghoeteplatz the main bus center area!
