  1. OH i loved that stuff until it took over my entire tank! LOL then I was taking chunks of it to the pet store to sell. It is awsome stuff for  breeding as the fry can get in it and hide from everyone and not be eaten.

  2. I bought a pyramid ornament and 2 coconut shell ornamants and placed the java moss on them all.  I placed hair nets over them tightly so the fish could not hurt themselves and left them in the tank.  Within weeks, the moss had taken over all of them and covered them entirely.  It was very cool as it looked like a lost city underwater.  And the fish lover java moss as do shrimps if you have any.

    :-)

  3. One of the coolest Java Moss objects I've seen was a tree-like setup.  A piece of vertical driftwood with branches was covered with moss at the top, and trimmed to keep a bonzai shape: http://www.tropicalfishforums.co.uk/imag...  Moss walls are also very cool, but tend to mat with hair algae if under-cared for: http://www.aquamoss.net/Taiwan-Moss/imag...  Many people make coconut caves with moss, which also look very cool, but a bit less natural: http://www.aquamoss.net/Taiwan-Moss/imag...

  4. Put on the filter so it looks old and scummy.
