What are some crafts ideas?

I want to make crafts to give as gifts and would like some ideas.

Depending on the type of gift and who it is for you can make scarves, pot holders, place mats by crocheting or knitting.

For kids, you can make beaded necklaces, bracelets, bookmarks (out of bracelt chains with charms on each end).

You can also use wine bottles and stuff Christmas lights inside (about a 10-20 ct. light set). On the outside, paint either a snowman, dragonflies, butterflies, easter eggs, ect...depending on what the occasion it is, and they can use it as a night light.

Gifts in a Jar are also great ideas, you can google "Gifts in a Jar" and it will come up with several sites with different ideas.

You can also use T-shirt transfers to make T-shirts for kids or adults. You can print them out with your printer on transfer paper that you get at Staples or walmart.

Cross-stitch kits are great! There are plenty of items to choose from, e.g. bookmarks, bellpulls, needle cushions, tablerunners, potpourri bags...

okay here are some incredible craft ideas:

make pillow case, and then make a pillow.

paint a flower pot.

get a can of some kind and paint it or color it

and then they can use it as a pen holder.

get a white t-shirt and color on it with washer felt pens!

and then they can wash it and remake it one day

Mosaics!  They are great for any age, you can buy kits and decorate and give as gifts, and the patterns are limitless!  Have fun!

   I would recommend going into a craft store such as AC Moore/Michaels,look around and see what they offer.You might want to try making soaps/bath salts and even candles.I started making soaps and bathsalts as a hobby 3years ago,and now I'm selling most of my products at work and sometimes as a vendor at special events.It is fun anda great way to meet people who love your craft.Most crafts also has special magazines/books(and even dvds) to help you become more creative.Hope this helps you out!!

Go to a craft store or a hobby store and look around and I am sure you will find something that catches your eye.  Try several things that you think looks interesting.  Try and see what you find that you like doing I am sure something will grab your attention.  good luck and have fun
