  1. If you have a piece of paper or a poster board large enough, have her lay on it and you draw her figure get up and then have her make her clothes, hair, face etc. with markers on the drawing. My daughter is 4 and she loves this!!!

  2. make a poodle kite.

    get 1 poodle

make the cross (90cm and 102cm dowel)

    fixate paper to the cross

apply generous amounts of glue (you could probably build a doggy harness also)

    apply cross to glued poodle

wait a bit, then attach strong string to the crossbar (or poodle) find a nice wind and enjoy your poodle-kite

    return kite-ified poodle to neighbor

  3. This is really messy, but fun:

Fill balloons with paint (any colors you want) and tape them to a large piece of paper. Then throw darts at the balloons and it splatters the paint on the paper! :]

  4. Consider making masks, holiday decorations, etc., out of recycled materials, or paint pictures with poster paint.

  5. Make play dough:

    1/2 cup salt

    1 cup flour

    1 tablespoon cream of tartar

    1 tablespoon oil

    1 cup water

    food coloring

    Pasta Necklaces:

A piece of string about 40 cm long

Pasta pieces that you can thread string through

Paints (You could probly use makers, or crayons)

Paint about ten to fifteen pasta pieces.  Use different colors and/or pasta shapes if you like.  Leave to dry.

Thread the pasta pieces, one at a time, onto the piece of string.  When the string starts to get full with pasta, tie both ends of the string together to form the necklace.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!

  6. bake something!

  7. Cat's Cradle or reading

  8. HI! You can cut pieces of colorful magazines into small triangles (about 2" long), put a bit of glue on them and roll them up like a tortilla. It makes a great little colorful bead. When you get enough you can string them on a necklace. You can shelack them too for a longer lasting effect. :0) I did this often as a kid but I found a website too!

  9. You can draw with a white crayon on white paper and then wash over it with blue watercolor paint.  It will stay white where the crayon is.  Someone called this a supprise painting when I did it with my art class.

Collage with magazines on card board is another idea.

  10. Take a piece of string and tie it so you have a loop.  Show her how to do witches broom and other string figures.

    Or do origami... http://dev.origami.com/diagram.cfm

    OH!  Shadow puppets!

I wish my kids were still little, lol...
