What are some creative things to do with sea shells?

So I collected a lot of small sea shells from the beach yesterday, but I'm not sure what to do with them. I was thinking to of putting them in a baby food jar with water in it. Any one else have any other ideas?

Make paperweights, name plates, or Christmas tree ornaments with them.

You can get a empty glass lamp and fill it up with them.  My mom did this after a trip to florida.

you could could collect them and then sell them. Put them in a   nice cute bag with glitters!!

Get a blank wooden picture frame, and glue around the frame. Then inside, put a nice pic of you or your family or pet at the beach.

Hot glue them to a frame or mirror, put them an a pretty vase or basket

glue them to a craft box - the paper mache kind - or wood if you want to spend the money.  cool to kind small treasures in - or jewelry.

do you were barrettes or hair combs - glue them to a couple plain ones.

put some sand in a jar - scatter the shells as you fill - and top with a layer of sand - put votive candle in top.

if you have lots of shells - thread them with fishing line and use them for pull backs for your curtains - or make a wind chime.
