What are some creative ways to show off my love of photography??

Question

I am going into 11th grade and I want to make some new friends and one thing about me is that I love photography and I want to show people at school my photos without being over the top about it. I know I can put photos in my locker and in my planner but does anyone have any other creative ideas so show my photos to the kids at school?? Thanks!!

Maybe when you 'make friends' they will ask you what you're into and you can go into it then.

Don't force it on anyone.

Go to Walmart and buy some Avery Brand Iron on Paper, then go to Goodwill or something and buy some vintage canvas shoulder bag (or anything fabric, like an old jacket or whatever strikes you). Scan your better works and print them onto the Iron On Paper, then put them onto the bag, and, if anyone asks, you can tell them you did it. You can even axe them to bring something from home and you'll do something for them. There's also these paint markers for fabric, you know how there was this craze over old time black-and-white antique photos with a splash of like blue or pink or green techni-color? Well, if you get those fabric paint markers, you can highlight some of you black and whites on the picutre or sign your name.

Another thing Avery has is Magnet paper. I do this for my family, I print pictures of my kids and cut them out, so its just them, and they are magnets. I made some for the youngest and let them arrange them on the fridge. Make magnets of some of your photography and you can put them in all sorts of obscure places.

Put a new picture on/in your binder each week. The ones with the clear thing around the outside you can slide papers in...

Maybe join a couple classes at school. Join the art club. Or keep a binder with you that says photography, and keep your photos in it. People will want to look in it. Or just carry a camera with you all the time. I love photography, and I always have at least one camera with me. And I like what the guy above me said, put them in slide in binders. It will show them off. Maybe even buy a couple shirts with cameras on them. There is a cute one at Alloy or maybe it's Delias, but it is white with black cameras all over it. I wanted to buy it.

Just an idea though. Don't do all of  these or else people might think that you are intensely obssesed with it. Which would make you seem kind of weird. Just let people know it's one of your favourite passtimes.

i love photography too, haha kinda obvious, otherwise i probably wouldn't answer this question. yes, the locker and planner are great. my friend is super photogenic, and i asked her if i could take some pictures of her.  so we had a 'photoshoot' kinda.  just some at the park and some other places and stuff.  if u have a couple of friends who would like doing this, ask them.. once they see how great your pictures are they can tell other ppl.  also, if u have a facebook or myspace, post them on there.  one more amazing website is photoblog.com.  you can post any pictures on there and all kinds of ppl will comment on them- professional and aspiring photographers.  hope this helps!
