What are some cute, modern hairstyles that I should try?

Ok, well my hair is about in the middle of my back, and I love it! In the morning I don't really have a lot of time to spend on it, so what are some fast ways to style it, without killing time? Oh, and how should I have my hair for picture day? And what hairstyles look good on long hair? Links would be nice also!

I have about the same length hair and never enought time as well.  Something that always works for me is if I take a shower at night, and then before I go to bed I put my hair in an extremely tight bun with like 5 hairbands, lol.  THen in the morning, I take out the bun and it is very curly, and then I just use Aussie Sprunch and it doesn't take long at all, proboaly like 2 minutes or something.  But it works very well.

THis is also good because you don't need to use a curling iron of you don't have one.

for picture day wear a mohawk kind of style. its not wat u think though lol. u braid the side of ur head hairs and then on the top make a hump and leave ur bangs down. or just wear it on a casual day. some more suggestions for picture day could be to straighten it and leave it down. get a fresh cut to make it look nicer. or get some twisties or something.
