What are some decorations i can make for my brother's recycling/environment- friendly graduation party?

the theme colors of the party are green and blue (like the world)

please give me ideas for decorations that i could make with supplies that arent very expensive and even better- things i will most likely have around the house. i dont need food ideas as much as i do decorations.

paper chains from magazine pages,tealight holders from sprite(match colur theme) cans cut in half

Aluminium foil .. you can make all kinds of centerpeices with that .... we used to makes stars out of it for our christmas tree but you could probably make just about anything out of it.
