supper is definitely much later in latin america... the earliest we eat is around 7, as compared to 5-ish in north america

Some people in El Salvador like to drink coffee in the afternoon along with "pan dulce" (sweet bread, like biscuits & cookies).

I hear that in Guatemala they have "refacción" which is a small mid-afternoon meal.
