  1. The American uniform has 20 million medals on them.

  2. Let's start with the Navy.  Lower ranks in the Canadian navy do not wear the same type of uniforms as lower enlisted in the US Navy.  I think they call them jumpers with the round white hat.  All Canadian Navy wear a double breasted with two rows of three brass buttons, suit style uniform with a white peaked cap.  It's very difficult to tell them apart from a US senior enlisted/officer uniform unless you're close up.  The biggest difference is the rank badge and the peaked cap is a little different.

The Canadian airforce blue uniform is a little closer to grey in colour than the USAF uniform.  All ranks wear a "wedge" style cap in the Cdn Air Force.  Again the badges of rank are different.

Both armys wear a green uniform with a beret as headdress.  The Canadian green is a fair bit darker than the American.  the Americans tend to dress up their uniforms a little more than do Canadians but putting more patches etc. on the shoulders.

Those are the dress uniforms.  For environmental/field clothing there are too many differences to go into here except to say that field uniforms are different patterns of camouflage.
