  1. One of them for sure: The language they use :)

  2. Chinese school system includes 13 grades.  6 elementary, 3 jnr high, 4 high.  At the end of the last year of junior high, students have to take a major exam to see what high school they get into.  At the end of the last year of high school, students take another exam to see what colleges they tested into.  It is tough.

  3. us school systems are laid back in some cases. A little easy going sometimes, but not all the time. You can have classes with hard teachers, and classes with those teachers who never hand out work or homework. In Chinese school systems, education is VERY IMPORTANT. The schools use very strict guidelines, and also uniform is a must.

  4. I would say that Chinese math must be much harder than American math, how the h**l do you even work an abacus?

  5. The Chinese school system has a greater emphasis on math and science, as well as a greater emphasis on exams rather than homework. It is common for Chinese students to be studying for their exams all-year round, while American students are more relaxed and concentrate on the content rather than testing.
