  1. Adult learning is based on certain premises, including learning "just in time" meaning you don't start the learning process unless you need or want to, and the learning should be based on an adult's prior experiences.  The advantage of online is that is is convenient for students, but it often lacks opportunties for incorporating rich learning activities that incorporate prior experiences - face2face is often more comfortable for older adults unfamiliar with online formats.  Additionally, online often is not devised to support engaging environments at actually result in learning - instead they are information diseminators, that tend to be based on a standard formula that allows for minimal original and engaging interaction with other learners - that is also critical to adult learners.

  2. why are you asking your question in the Special Ed section? why do so many people in your country not understand that Special Education deals with people who have physical and/or mental disabilities?

  3. This seems very obvious,, but online for adults is convenient.   You can do your work when you can... as opposed to having to be in a classroom at a specific time.   Being online though requires maturity and being a "self-starter" who can handle the responsibility.
