Nothing's unique here -- everything is standard:

normal word order:  I hit the ball

reverse word order:  The ball, I hit

inverted word order:  The ball was hit by me

All these sentence structures are recognized as normal and standard in English.  However, reverse order is not frequently used in normal American prose (it's more frequent in poetry) and inverted word order generally requires the passive tense which should be used on a limited basis.
