What are some different types of literature that you read and what do you get from reading them?

  1. Life is too short for me to read literature.  I read nonfiction to educate myself.

    Edit:  Don't make me slap you.  By "literature" I meant the Literature section of bookstores, which is typically fiction.  I spend most of my time in the Computers section with networking books, or in the Languages section.


  2. I am reading "An Innocent MAn" by John Grisham right now.  I read J.D. Robb, Mary Higgins Clark, Nora Roberts, John Updike, and I Love to read the Bible

  3. Well I am a big fan of S.E. Hinton, Norman Mailer... as far as the types of literature... I would have to say that I like all genres.  Some of my favorites are "The Swimmer," "Paul's Case," "The Great Gatsby," "The Outsiders,"... anything.

  4. That is a broad category: fiction, non fiction, plays, poetry, historical fict and non fict, how to books, psychology, philosophy, christian, jewish, muslim, etc etc etc
