Farmers have a duty to their land, to take care of it and maintain it in the same shape or better than they received it.  They have a duty to their livestock to care for it, safe guard it, and treat it in a humane manner.  They have a duty to the wildlife on their farm to preserve it manage it to keep it's numbers in balance with nature.  The activities that they must accomplish to earn their money are to prepare their fields, plant their seeds, fertilize, and keep the weeds out of the field, and harvest the crops.  They have to feed their stock, milk the cows, sell the fattened stock at market.

i know a farming family who like prays 3 times a day..and do farming and offer preparations of food they grow to all those who want to, all that they can take with them...and help around their village in every imaginable way...

and are very respected....i visit them every year twice...
