I unfortunately got pregnant at 13 (and do not recommend it!) and was wondering what effects could that have had on my body considering I was not fully finished with puberty. Did my body continue to develop after giving birth or was it somehow stagnated (stopped)? Im really worried!

PLEASE any sort of advice or idea is welcomed. :)

  1. i personaly want to say ur my hero! ur not leting the rude and un calld for things these people are saying get to u! and u have seemed to do exreamly well for ur self. ur son is very lucky to have such a bright mommy. if god didnt want u to have a baby at 13 u wouldnt have but he did so u must me a very strong woman

  2. your not stupid!

it happens all the time. no big deal...

and the people who call you names are the people that are making teen pregnancy worse!...

cuz kids are afraid to talk to people about s*x cuz they don't wanna get yelled at or called names so they don't ask questions...

your body is in for a big change.

you will probably get really bad stretch marks. so use cocoa butter or bio oil on your skin about 3 times a day and walk a lot to help keep weight gain down...

and eat healthy and drink lots of water that's about all you can do!

after your pregnancy you will still continue to grow... the human body is equipped to handle young pregnancy. if it wasn't equipped then you wouldn't get your period till you were older...

    good luck with your baby...

  3. When the human life expectancy (and we're talking cavepeople here) was around 40, humans were evolved to start reproducing as soon as they could - i.e. as soon as they started ovulating. Reproduction when we were built more primatively was natural at an early age, though we have marginally evolved since then.

However, hormonally, the body should still continue to develop after giving birth even at an early age. The pregnancy itself might have caused complications like back problems because the bone structure wasn't previosuly developed, but if your pregnancy and child were healthy, there should be no major repercussions to at birth at a young age.

  4. 3 questions: wat made you get pregant @ 13. HOwd ur parents deal w. it nd how u face everybody in the outside word?

    u body getss bigger.

Good luckk with the babiee !

  5. well ur done growing..once u have a baby u stop growing so forget about getting any taller, uhh other then the weight gain that can come with pregnancy, i wouldn't say anything else...even tho u were young ur body was still made to have a baby so it wouldn't really hurt anything.

  6. Don't listen to the arrogant girl that called you retarded.

Pregnancy takes a toll on anyones body. 13 or 20. It will be harder since your so young and your body hasn't fully developed. You won't stop developing after giving birth.

  7. okay well first off, getting pregnant as a teenager isn't exactly the best thing to do in your life. You might have some physical setbacks, but also... you have a child to take care of... someone you now have to put before yourself, the emotional tiredness will probably be worse.

  8. i don't exactly have a good answer for this, but i know that you'll get stretch marks.

  9. 13, woooow, ummmmm.... goodness i can only hope ur parents know cause thats some major damage on your body. i dont know if it stopped or anything only you can answer that or you can google it but i know 4 a fact that the effects on your body were .. how do i put this gently.. horrendous, i wish you the best of luck. (hopefully you raise your kid bettr)
