School is starting and I would rather not fall asleep in the middle of class, so what foods can I eat to stay awake?

  1. I think your best bet would be to make sure it has a good balance of both healthy carbohydrates and protein. Too many carbohydrates may leave you feeling like you've "crashed" by the end of first period.

    I give my children fruit juice and cheese along with a bowl of their favorite low-sugar cereal and milk. I haven't had any complaints about them falling asleep in class (yet!).
