not sure if this is what u were looking for but to be approached with menus leaving bringing all a glass of water and asking if they would like to order or need more time .the customer is always right so try and deal the best u can trear them as u wld want to be treated

You just pay attention to the way they are acting...if you see their cup empty, you get them more drink....if you see that they are done looking at the menu, you go take their order...if you see they are done eating...you take them their check/ask if they want desert......it's pretty simple really

Just keep them busy! If you can, put pitchers of soda and water on tables. Put bread out or whatever your restaurant has. Lots of napkins!!
