  1. Things that are "covered up" are called classified. Talking about those things is a violation of the law. Asking someone to talk about those things is a violation of the law.

For things that aren't classified the Freedom of Information Act applies and you can learn as much as you want to learn.

  2. maybe iraq did have WMD's

  3. America sometimes has a very short memory...we are ready to take on the world to defend our country after a disaster like 9/11 and then years later we are screaming abuse when it comes to the treatment of prisoners in Gitmo. Do I want to know what they are doing down there? h**l no...let them do what they want with those murderers!

  4. blowing up big buildings

  5. I wouldn't call it "cover up", it's more like not telling the general public anything at all. Or "misinformation" by the news media. Feed the news media a fact or two and CNN/Fox/ABC..... will make up (speculate) the rest.

  6. That would be none of your business. You can't handle the truth. Simply be thankful that there are hard men out there doing hard jobs so you don't have to do them.

  7. Why are you questioning a military that gives you freedom to do so? Say that "we aren't really protecting your rights" at this very moment..but our history says differntly.

So...hey, how about get a life, and stop trying to start up something

  8. Mostly classified matters are withheld from the public. Not as a coverup. As a way to prevent death or unneeded embarassment to innocent parties. Let me give you a hypothetical situation. An American Navy man jumps off his ship and swims towards an enemy vessel. He is seen climbing up the ladder of that ship, alive and unharmed. Do you tell his parents he just defected to the enemy or did you tell them he was missing at sea and presumed dead? If you pick the latter you are exercising some humanity. But, the media and some others might be screaming "coverup!".

As you can see, some words are misapplied.
