What are some excuses for a g*y man not to have a girlfriend?

If I don't want to tell people that I'm g*y when they ask me why I don't have a girlfriend or wife, what are some excuses that might be used?

You have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, if the people you tell have a problem, then it is their problem, not yours......

Be honest.

Either say you dont want one.

Or say your g*y. Either way your being honest. If they press the point ask them a personal question back. You dont have to come up with an excuse just be honest. Honesty is the best course of action,

Since they're rude enough to ask such a personal and, frankly, judgmental question, you don't owe them a truthful, clarifying answer.

I'd throw them wittily off-track with a perplexing answer -- something like, "Oh, I just could never bear having someone steal the covers while we're sleeping."  Or truly confuse them with something like, "Unfortunately, my homeowner's insurance only allows for one occupant in my bed."

Or, if you wanna be more subtle. "I'm not ready for that." "I don't want that." "I used to be in an abusive relationship, and it ended pretty badly. Women these days just can't take a punch."

may not be easy to talk about but it's an amazing excuse that works perfectly

I'm not g*y but I did use that excuse when my boy asked me why I haven't gotten laid in a while

Except I wasn't lying
