What are some exotic pets that are legal in california?

i'm looking for an animal that different, friendly, and easy to take care of. and i already have a guinea pig.

get a woolly mammoth. i hear they are kind of hard to find, but i'm sure you can do it.

get a bearded dragon lizard. they grow to about 2 feet and you can walk them on little harnesses. they are fairly simple to take care of, and are really friendly. they like to be petted and they give little licks.

if you've seen the movie "Nim's island" the lizard she has on there is a bearded dragon lizard. :]

oh wait, you said LEGAL.  hmmm...exotic animals aren't generally easy to take care of...maybe a big ol' Monitor?  I am pretty sure they are legal in Cali...or an Iguana.  If you leave Iguana's out of their terrarium, they get really big.
