  1. most defintely i am a paranormal investigator, many experiences are on our site here was my first :) i love sharing this one but people on Y/A have prolly heard this 1000 time lol!!!

was six and lived in Trenton , MI . When the family and I were sitting on the living room couch watching TV, they all of the sudden heard a loud crash that sounded like glass breaking. We ran down stairs to find the remains a light bulb in swept into a dust pan with a broom standing next to it , between that experience many things happened in that home such as things flying across the TV stand onto the floor was one creepy experience.Another is when my mother one day was doing laundry and something screamed boo in her ear . What ever was there in the home struck me in the back with a shoving almost like a smack when i was sitting down and watching tv and shortly after My mom had told me at night she would hear footsteps around her bed at night on a daily basis.”

  3. Growing up in a house with 6 brothers and sisters whenever anyone was at the front door there was a mad rush to see who could open it first. This night my sister beat me as I was on my CB. But I watched her from the top of the stairs there was no one there. We all went back about our business 15 minutes passed the bell rang again same scenario no one there by now my dad was like who was that, we told him there was no one there ,

as we explained this the bell rang again he jumped up and said lemme answer it, no one there as he sat down it rang again he leapt up, run to the door opened it, no one there. Closed it, turned round to go sit down, just as he reached the front room door it rang again 3 quick strides he was opening the door no one there, he shouted out "ha ha" very funny, by now we were all watching what was going on, he stood at the door with his hand on the latch and said to us I'll catch them now, soon as he said that it rang. He opened the door, no one there, we had all experienced weirdness in that house. But I think that was the first time we were all present when something happened. My dad always used to sware at the ghosts to make them go away. On this occasion it just seemed to annoy them even more, the bell went into overdrive ding, ding, ding, ding, he pulled the cover off and the little hammers were going mad.

He pulled the batteries out it was still ringing, he got a hammer and smashed it off the wall. My dad lost the plot that night, he was really angry at them (ghosts) but  that's a different story...

  4. A while ago my Dads best friend passed away from alcohol abuse. I known him my whole life. Every weekend he would com over to watch football with my Dad or hang out on the deck in my backyard. The first year anniversary of his death I saw a white mist that looked like it was sitting in one of the chairs on the back deck.

  5. I've had what some may say was sleep paralysis but I think it was something else.

I was in bed late one night, when for some reason I woke up. I tried to move but I couldn't. I tried to speak but I couldn't. My eyes were still working fine and I could look around the room.

Then I glimpsed that something was at the end of my bed. I tried to get a better look at it but then it yelled at me, "don't you dare look at me." At that point my eyes rolled into the back of my head. Although I had my eyes open earlier, I couldn't open my eyes again no matter how hard I tried. I was completely awake.

I prayed to God to get this thing away from me and then it was suddenly gone. I could move and my eyes were back to normal. I was so freaked out that I clinged close to my husband and fell back asleep.

I thought it may have been sleep paralysis but I don't necessarily believe it was b/c of a similar experience my sister had.

A few months later my sister visited us for a few weeks. She was reading in bed one evening when all of a sudden she heard someone yell "get out!" She heard it again, this time it was in her ear, "GET OUT!" When this happened, my husband and I were fast asleep and there was no one else in the house.

She ended up staying up most of the night b/c she was so freaked out.

I've also woke up to something tapping me on the shoulder.  I lay there completely awake feeling this finger tapping me.  I was so scared that I couldn't react.  I just ignored it and moved closer to my husband and tried to fall back asleep.

I've had a few other random experiences, but nothing as scary as those.

  6. A couple of years ago, during an electrical storm when the electricity went out in the entire neighborhood, I was awakened by loud claps of thunder and lightning.  The electricity had already gone out and the entire street was dark.  Oddly enough, my house phone (which runs on electricity) lit up for a moment and made a 5-tone beep.  I lit a candle and went to check on my cats downstairs.  My husband was deployed at the time, and I was home alone recovering from major surgery.  I began to walk down the hallway when a large oval beam of light flashed in sucession 5 times at the end of my dark hallway.  There are no windows or opened doors down there where a light source could have been.  It was about 3:00 in the morning.  I was very sleepy and stood at the top of the steps and the first time the light flashed, I only noticed it half-heartedly.  I was looking down the steps at my boy-kitty who was staring, very wide-eyed back up at me.  Then all of a sudden, when I turned my head toward the wall, the oval light flashed 5 times in succession again.  I was stunned, and stood there for a few minutes waiting for something to happen, realizing that this "light" was coming from something unexplainable in my tangible environment.  Nothing more for those few fozen moments so I went back to bed.  The following morning I looked out my kitchen window and saw that a tree in my next door neighbor's yard had been struck by lightning, falling and coming within millimeters of bashing in the backside of my house.  The very tippy top limb literally just barely scraping the side of my house.

Later that day when I was talking to my other neighbor about the tree falling, she said that her grandson had left the house for work and saw it fall.  When I asked her what time he had left for work, she said it was 5:00 a.m.

I think that someone (an angel) or something saved me, a very sick and alone woman at the time, from the tragedy of dealing with a mid-winter electrical storm and the damage that tree might have caused.

  7. Same power here as well. But I can also sense.

  8. I haven't had any. I'd also recommend a check-up with the eye doctor, just to make sure nothing is wrong.

  9. I have never experienced anything that has required a paranormal explanation.

  10. This is a personal true story:

My sister and I both have a connection with ghosts closer than most normal people. This didn't start until these events took place when I was twelve or so and my sister thirteen or so...

We used to spend every weekend at my grandmothers housein the country, arriving Friday afternoon and staying until Sunday evening when my mother would pick us up. We both had our own rooms but they were only separated by a small bathroom. When we visited her house, the only occupants in the house would be me, my sister (Stacy) and my grandmother.

My sister and I slept at night in our own rooms except on times when we would play dolls or something late into the evening. On these nights, I would stay with my sister in her bedroom, making a "pallet" on the floor to sleep on. We would turn the lights our except for a lamp and climb into our beds just to talk for a few hours before going to sleep. That is when the "paranormal" things began.

Once everything was quiet and my sister and I were just talking, knocking would begin throughout the room. First on one wall, then another, making it's way around the room. It would knock three times in intervals: three knocks on one wall, three knocks on the next wall, and so on. We tried to ignore the knocking but soon, it was quite loud and it would not stop until I left my sisters bedroom. After the first time it happened, I began having nightmares about the bedroom, of someone trying to drag me into the closet and kill me (a nightmare which I still have to this day and I am eighteen years old!), of the mirror shattering or faces reflected in the glass, of the dolls in her room moving of their own accord and of people outside the bedroom windows.

A few weekends later, I tried to sleep in my sisters bedroom again, only to hear the repetitive knocking once again. I slept in my own room and the next morning we went outside to investigate and try to find the source of teh knocking. Ironically, and quite scary, we found a knife balanced carefully on teh outside windowsill, as if someone had been outside my siser's window as they had in my dreams. The odd part... my sister's bedroom window was at least fifteen feet off of the ground and there were thick thorny bushes beneath it, making it difficult to set up a ladder ot look in without ripping clothing or falling and at least making noise.

It has been six years since these occurences began or have taken place, primarily for the fact that we do not go over to stay the night at my grandmothers house any more. She passed away four years ago and my uncle inherited the property. He denies witnessing any supernatural occurences however my aunt, who had never once heard any stories whatsoever about any ghostly activity taking place in the house, actually saw a figure standing before her one night as she was making dinner. At the time, my uncle was outside with their Rottweiler, Riley while the only other person, my aunt, was inside. She happened to glance up and see the reflection of someone beside her and slightly behind her in the mirror. She jerked upright from slicing something and saw the apparition - a woman - before her. My aunt said, "Who are you and what do you want! I am not afraid of you!" The apparition remained there for a few seconds more before simply disappearing.

This was the last occurence that any of my family has witnessed. My entire family - my mothers side - visits this house every single year at Christmas time yet we have not had any unusual occurences take place. Still, to this day, I refuse to set foot in my sisters old bedroom for fear of waking up past memories or having a series of nightmares attack me while I sleep. :) I have not walked in that bedroom for over six years....
