What are some facts about Australia?

Can you tell me some facts about Australia that someone who has lived there would probably know? These facts should be harder to guess for someone who has not lived in Australia. Facts can be related to culture, daily life, geography, politics, etc. Thanks.

  1. Australia has everything from tropical beaches and islands, to rainforests, to deserts, to rural outback hills and mountains, and the best citys in the world, and the people are great!!!

    Its is a very culturally diverse country.

    We love good friends and good partys.

    We wont mind taking a photo for a tourist.

    We DONT ride kangaroos and there not pets just sittin in our back yards, we dont wear khaki like steve irwin and paul hogan (crocodile dundee)

    We dont like being compared to new zealand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    um  dunno we are pretty friendly bunch, ofcorse you will meet a few mean people, because there everywhere in the world.
