  1. we play the left right game at my grandma's. look it up online. or you can make up your own story. and everyone brings a gift and everytime you hear left or right you pass it that direction. and you end up with a completely different gift. make sure the gifts are wrapped then no one know what they are fighting for. or we also play a card game you get like a deck of cards and you get one for the caller. you get enough gifts for everyone. and put them in the middle. pass out the cards to everyone until the deck runs out. you pick a card out of the deck and call it. whoever has that card shows you and they get to pick a gift from the middle show it to everyone and then hide it. then you do it again. but the next person has the choice of taking the gift from the person or picking a new one. if they decided to take it the other person gets to pick a new gift. then you just keep going until you call the last card. its is sooo much fun and you should totally try it. hop this helps!

  2. there are lots like clue, life, candy land (for young kids), if you have a family of 4 try break the safe

  3. Uno, Snap, Fish (card games)

    Bingo

    Pictionary

    Charades

What about making something like a puzzle or even bake a cake.

  4. Life, Monopoly, Guesstures, Pictionary. anything of those would work

  5. For party games, I like Pictionary, Apples to Apples, Gift Trap, and Wits & Wagers.  All are quite easy to learn and teach, and accomodate quite a few players.  Good light fun.

For a little more strategic game, you've really got to try Ticket to Ride -- plays up to five people in about an hour.  Just played it with my in laws over T-giving (age range from 20 to 80) and they all liked it a lot.  Not as raucous as most party games, but if there are people who enjoy board games like Monopoly or Clue, etc., this is a great starting point into the vastly superior new  breed of adult strategy games.

  6. Pictionary, Balderdash, Listen Up, Rack-o, Battleship (2 players only), card games, Electronic Catch Phrase, Fact or c**p, Trivial Pursuit, and Taboo head the list!

  7. get apples to apples. its a really fun game. when me and my family get together we play it and everyone of all ages that can read have a blast!
