I don't know about Red horses, but thre was one called Smartie.

Also, there was one called searbiscuit and Man 'o' war.

My favorite of all time, Affirmed!  The absolute best I don't care what anyone says.  

But go to the book of thoroughbred names.  No sense coming up with one that can't be used.
