  1. Rodeo Drive, Mulholland, Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Dr, Santa Monica Blvd, Sunset and Coldwater Cyn.

  2. The main one for shopping for folks will have to be 'Rodeo Drive'.

  3. Rodeo and Sunset are the only ones I can think of off hand. Not from California, but planning to load up the truck and see 'em real soon.

Check out www.seeing-stars.com.  I believe you may be able to find the answer there.

  4. In Beverly Hills, the most famous street is Rodeo Drive.  It's littered with really upscale, designer boutiques.  Every now and then you can see a celebrity.

Other famous streets in the Beverly Hills/Los Angeles area are:

Sunset Blvd.:  runs from the ocean to downtown LA until it changes into Cesar Chavez Avenue.  The film, and later the musical, Sunset Blvd., is named after it.  If you drive the full length of it, you'll see mansions, UCLA, strip clubs, the Scientology building, etc.

Wilshire Blvd.:  runs from Santa Monica to downtown.  Used to be the main drag in old Hollywood, but there's not too much of note along it now, although lots of places are starting to revitalize it and put more old-style neon signs up.

Mulholland Dr.:  runs along the Santa Monica mountains and offers panoramic views of LA, including the Hollywood sign.  Beautiful at nighttime.  The movie, Mulholland Drive, was named after it.

Hollywood Blvd.:  the intersection of Hollywood and Vine is legendary.  The sidewalks along Hollywood Blvd. (and parts of the side streets along it) are lined with stars--Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Also, the Chinese Theatre is on Hollywood--that's the one where all the movie stars' footprints are in the cement out in front.
