Like just some ways to say everyday things like when I say "bye" to people I say "ta-ta!" You know, stuff like that. Sorta like the character Bitsy from Rhymes With Witches.

thanks! :)

  1. Whatnot - Whatever/ insignificant item e.g. Are you sure you haven't forgotten anything, pens paper and whatnot?

    Arbitrary - random

  2. Ive picked up some UK slang from a friend in England (Im in the US)  ... that I love.

    Blar de Blar-- nonsense

    Example:

My teacher was telling me I need to study more, do more homework, less talking in class  and all that "blar de blar."

    I liked this one too.

    Layabouts

Example :  England is being overrun with "layabouts" from other countries, taking advantage of our generosity.

Also like when he uses Posh.

    Example:

I dont care for attending posh do's, prefer regular home parties.

(Do's is short for To do's or party)

  3. Saying goodbye?  Ciao.  Later!  Be safe.  Godspeed.  For getting coffee?  Cup of Joe, cup o' mud.  Greeting someone?  Allo!  Heddo.  (my older son always greets me with this.  Love it.)  Pauly Shore called food - 'grindage'.  Have fun watching more come in!

  4. tiddies

  5. Bedroom - Chambers/sleeping quarters

    Party - Soiree

    Tissue - Serviette

To like something - tickle my fancy

    I/we -  One

Everyday people - proletariat or hoi polloi

    Ignorant person - Ignoramus

That's all I can think of I thought this would be easier
