  1. Falling. Alicia Keyes

    It only has 2 chords.

    Also "Ain't no sunshine"

Same song, a few more chords

"We are the Champions" is similar, a bit more

    complex.

  2. Try Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here"

  3. my heroine by silverstein

  4. Mission impossible,Simpsons things like that i think there easy hope you do to thx.

  5. About a Girl-Nirvana

  6. start with easy 2 or 3 chord songs like

    sweet home alabama

cant always get what you want

    feelin alright

    knockin on heavens door

    simple man

    statesboro blues

dont worry about playing the hook riffs or signature licks just follow the rythm and have fun.

  7. anything by dispatch (the general/two coins/flying horses) is great practice and sounds good. also, for a beginner no woman, no cry is great especially if you get all the way through the solo because the song progressively gets more difficult. good luck

  8. With or Without You - U2

    Hey Yah - Outkast (Very easy - G C D Em)

    Babylon - David Gray

    I Can't Help... - Elvis Presley

If I Had A Million Dollars - Barenaked Ladies

We Are Going To Be Friends - White Stripes

Halfway Around The World - Bowling For Soup

Basket Case and Time Of Your Life - Green Day

All these can be played acoustically, with just four or five chords, all of them open, I believe.

Also check out Justin Sandercoe's lessons on youtube - free, easy to follow, and I've learnt a lot from them.

Try and find a couple of songs you like (www.ultimate-guitar.com is good for tabs and chord patterns) that are relatively easy to play. Play them to death until you have the chord positions memorised, and move on to new songs.

I went from hopeless beginner to fairly competent in just a couple of weeks through learning HRTW above (G D C, G D C Am) and then using those chords in other songs, with one or two new chords per song.

Good luck - and enjoy yourself :-)

  9. When you get better Dust in the Wind, it has an awesome acoustic sound.

  10. im yours by jason mraz

    :]

  11. Try Misery Business - Paramore acoustic.

    Or Wild Thing
