  1. You can probably get a loan directly from a lender nowadays, but they're probably going to stick you on the interest rate.  I wouldnt do it.  They're getting really predatory out there nowadays.


  2. There is a book at your local library called I believe "the scholorship book" It has so many scholorships you can also look up grants.  Talk to your schools financial services department.  They can help you also.

  5. Stafford loans, this is how I paid for all my books and transportation and such for school.

  6. Work study, you work on campus and it goes toward tuition. They even allow you to study while working in most cases. Try getting a loan through a bank or credit union.

  9. Look into Stafford loans, they help with a different amount each year, and there is a low fixed APR. Many banks offer them and will give you a 0.5% discount if you do automatic withdraw.
