What are some foods high in protein?

I ask because my doctor told me I'm not getting enough which may be the reason I have a hard time gaining muscle. So, what are some foods high in protein that I can eat from any food group???

  1. Milk, eggs, and meats are rich in protein and easy to digest.  Thinking of a more veggie way? go with soy, peanuts, and beans


  2. Any meat is a high protein food, go for ones that are lower in fat content such as chicken breast or cut the fat part off of your steak before you eat.

    Also, beans are a good choice for a high protein vegie.
