If you are interested in books with Internet Links, check with Usborne Books.  Their books - many of them - offer Internet Links to safe, prescreened educational websites specific to the topic of the book!  For example, I know there is a site that allows you to virtually dissect a heart, and other sites that have educational games or printable activities.  The sites are free, but you need the books to show you the links.  See them at http://www.ubah.com/g2687

Most school text books now have on-line sites.  You usually do not need passwords or codes so you can visit them and go to the student pages.

Some that I've used are Houghton Mifflin, McGraw-Hill, We Believe (religious site).
