What are some fun activities to do in the Outer Banks?

We have a week and are looking for some fun things to do, good places to eat. Thanks!

Depends where you are going in the Outer Banks. I useually go to the Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills area. During the summer there are plenty of activities to do. You can go down to the shops in Duck and Corola. Climb the sand dunes, or lay on the beach. There is a store there called Wings, you will get sick of seeing it by the end of the week. Go in there and check it, they have lots of things to buy. If your into the skateboarding scene check out OBBC they have ALOT of cloths there and I actually am going to go school shopping there soon. Theres a set of shops down in Mantio with a little playground and stuff. Its a great place to have a picnic. And no Outer Banks visit is complete without playing putt-putt. The best one I think is the one with the mountian and water fall. I'm not sure what its called but its on the bypass. Sorry whenever I go we useually just hang out and never go anywhere so I dont know alot of fun things to do. As for food The Black Pelican is my favorite resturaunt. Its useually cool in there so brings a jacket or something if you get cold easily. Bobs Grill is my second favorite if you want a good cheeseburger or bbq. Stack em' High... I love that place. You will have to get breakfast there one morning. If your into the clubbing scene they have a place called Kellys although its becoming to popular and you cant really move around in there. So if your looking for a good club ask a local for an underground place. Well I hope I helped you out alittle bit.

If you are in Corolla  there is a sports center and many activities all week.             Wings is a good store

If you have 4wd, you must drive up through corolla and onto the beach through Carova.  The road stops but you can drive miles and miles and miles along the beach.  Also, all of the wild ponys are on that beach, the kids will love it.  Beautiful houses on that beach and you can't get more private than no road access.  Wonderful family place.

Dirty D!cks is a fun place to eat. They are not "d!cks" to you in the one in the outer banks. the food is a bit expensive.

You can go looking at the local light houses.

Swimming and surfer is fun.

Collect Shells and make things with them
