  5. Urm, how about a Bird .. like a parrot ?

  6. How about a bunny?

  7. I would suggest a budgie (or commonly know as a parakeet). They are very lovable if handled daily. They can be taught to talk and as long as you only have one they are relatively quiet. They are also one of the cheapest birds to care for and there are many colors to choose from. You can have a blue, green, grey, yellow, white basically anything but red (and i have never seen a pink budgie but who knows). I hope you consider a budgie as a loving companion, you won't regret it!

  8. I would suggest a parakeet.  I love mine!  He is pretty easy to take care of and is really interactive.  He sits on my shoulder, whistles at me when I wake up in the morning, and plays tricks on me.  (He mimicks my phone so that I run into the room only to find that it's the bird and not my phone.)

  9. Well cats are the most lovable so i'm sorry about that but a different lovable would be a turtle or a parrot. I know it sound weird but turtles are very calm and sweet and just my opinion but they're so cute! Also parrots sometimes can get wild but it just depends on the parrot and they are very lovable!

  10. Hello!

If you're a bird person, budgies or cockatiels make lovely pets. They can be a bit noisy but can learn a few words or whistles, so its very amusing. Both species make great "first birds", though cockatiels are more expensive but easier to tame. Just make sure you do alot of research before getting any bird- they all have different diet and cage requirements. Budgies and cockatiels aren't very expensive- a good cage, two budgies, food, toys, treats, perches, and food cups only cost me 200$. Cockatiels, on the other hand, are around 100$ for a hand raised bird, which you would most likely want to get. They need a bigger cage than budgies but are much more cuddly.

If you dont like birds, I reccomend guinea pigs. Yes, they are rodents, but act more like small dogs and arent expensive.

Whatever you decide to get, please try to get it off of www.petfinder.com instead of at a pet store. There are thousands of pets on it that need homes and are much cheaper and tamer than what you would get at Petsmart.

  11. Rabbits are fun, cute, loveable and interactive.  Perhaps not as interactive as a dog, but they will play with you.  They will also chew on everything from furniture to electrical wires.

  12. Birds are fun, So are bunnies, fish, Chinchillas, ferrets, Hedgehogs, iguanas, etc!!! Study different kinds of pets online to be sure you can meet their care requirements tho

  13. Box turtles can be very love able and social if you spend enough time with them. Some people also say the same about small birds!

  14. Do you live on a farm or in a city? If you live on a farm I would have some horses. If you live in the city I would probably have a rabbit or a ferret. I hope this helps you! Oh and by the way rabbits and ferrets aren't rodents in case you are wondering.

  15. Ferrets, they are too big to be considered rodents, they are very lovable, compassionate, smart and inquisitive animals, they are bundles of joy

you need to get them in pairs or more refer to this article for info to help your decision
