Boys?? I'm babysitting boys tomorrow and would like some fun activities for them to do... inside and out. But not too messy, please! lol... They're all boys, by the way. Oh, and the ages are 11, 10, 9, and 5.

  1. if its ok with there parents, u could play some video games. u could go outside and play like soccer or baseball or sumthing. or ask them what they want to do.

  2. - if it's a nice day let them help you make a nice picnic lunch then walk/ride bikes to a park.

    - have them each make a sock puppet and put on a show

    - bake and decorate cookies if they're into that

    - if they have their school supplies already and it's ok with the parents, help them decorate their folders, pencil boxes, etc.  (stickers are fun and clean!)

  3. Color, movies, play tag...hide n' seek...CANDY... :)   just fun stuff

  4. Ever play pickle?  Boys are competitive and active.  Pickle is a game where there's plenty of running and fun, but nobody loses.  There's also not a ton of rules so even the little one can remember.  And the age difference doesn't matter.

Two bases as far apart as you like.  Two people are on base, the others are runners.  The base people throw the ball back and forth.  When a runner feels like he can make it to the other base, he runs for it!  The base person does everything he can to tag the other person with a ball (kickball is best, doesn't hurt).  It doesn't have to be a straight line and heck, if the person wants to run around the house to get there safely then all the power to him.  You can stay on a base as long as you like, there's no pressure to run but once you step off the base you have to go!  You can play with three people or 30.  you can have 2 bases or a bunch.

  5. Oh, that might be difficult!

Try to drag them outside and shoot hoops, or pass the ball around. At 11 and 10 they might have their own ideas of what they want to do and might want to hang out in their rooms, it honestly depends on the kid. Board Games are always fun and can pass some time. Try to refrain from letting them sit behind a screen the whole time, the parents love it when you can tell them "We played Monopoly, and played outside, went for a walk."

Puzzles are fun, and you could have two out at two differnt tables so you can divide by age level. If you have them at night then would be a good time to have them get ready for bed them lay down and watch a movie in the living room.

  6. They like to do a lot of sports stuff at young ages. Kick a ball around, throw a ball, get a nurf ball and bat. Also video games are great. Do exercises that keep them going (jump n jacks, running in place, stretching, etc.) The older ones might not like playing with the younger one, but you will just have to talk them into it if they are like that.

    Hope this helps.

  7. movies are always simple. or if you have the games rockband or guitar hero they would love that and it would include all of them. even the 5 year old could sit on someone elses lap and drum with them. you could take them to the park and let them get some energy out. play football or frisbee perhaps.
