I babysit my niece a lot and its hard finding stuff to do. I take her to the park all the time, but after a while she gets bored with that. (She's four) What can I do with her that's fun and cheap?

  2. Wow.  What a nice aunt!

I have free, fun, educational printables on my website:

    http://www.quality-kids-crafts.com

She can make alphabet animal puppets, learn about shapes, letters and numbers, and even make an Olympic torch craft (not to be set on fire, of course).

You probably already know by now that even though she is just four, she has thoughts and ideas of her own.  If possible, sit down with her and ask her what her favorite things to do are.  Then find a way to make them happen.

Ooh, and take lots of pictures and make a scrapbook together, so she can always remember the time she got to spend with her FAVORITE aunt!

    Have fun.

  3. Ask her some of the things she'd like to do! Meanwhile, have things to color, paint, draw, make play dough, do some cooking/baking, play dress-up, dance to music, be silly, laugh, read to her, play easy games, run, keep going to the park, build tents in and out, play with water---just pay attention to her! Have fun!

  4. Kids love to cook and whilst your doing it talk about what she notices, cooking is science.  Let her touch the mixture and tell you what it feels like, what can she smell and see?  She'll be having fun and learning at the same time.

  5. Shaving creme!!!!!!!!!!

    kids love it!

put it on a table and kids can draw pictures, shapes, practice writing skills and just have a good ole time!

and its very easy to wash out of clothing!!

  6. You can make ornaments out of starlight mints, so that if the child wants to eat them, he/she can.
