What are some fun classes for horse shows?

I'm having a fun show and i have some classes but i need more!! PLEASE HELP

ex: egg and spoon race, ribbon race!!!

cloverleaf barrels, speed barrels, polebend,single stake,water glass race,quarter race,figure eight, keyhole, bareback eq.  The key word being "fun" right. Make up a class all your own, if you end up being an annual fun show it could be your signature event. The best thing about an event of this type is NO POLITICS ALLOWED. So a regular ol' grade gelding has as good of a chance as anyone else.

Saddle-bridle-go. And one way to make all classes fun is to give away sweets to the winners or just give every oe a chocolate whe they enter so that way its really just for fun and not for the prizes

um u could do pole bending,barrels,bareback dollar(rideing bareback with a dollar under ur theighs, last to drop wins, u go through the walk trot, canter), montana keyhole, poney express(one stnds @ end of ring while other is on horse, horse and rider gets to end of ring and switches bag to the other rider and that rider mounts up and rides back as fast as they can) hope that helps, u could probly look it up on google!

it seems like your doing a playday style show

some events we used to do were ride abuck(you ride bareback with a dollar tucked under your thigh

last one not to lose their dollar(whil going through differnt gaits) wins a percentage of the dollars

rescue race

one horse and rider run down to the end of the arena and "rescue" the other rider they run home

also chug alug which can get messy but is super fun!

you run down to a barel with a cup of juice chug it as fast as you can and then set it back on the barrel and run home

figure 8 flags also you can go to the california gymkhana association website for some of there funner events it will give you directions on setup

I have watched alot of fun horse show days and they also seem to include barrel races where you race around 2 barrels possitioned at each side of a cicle, at one end you have to pick up a flag on a pole and drop it in the second barrel and so on...Another game is a race where each person has to hold thier whips in thier mouths and race across a paddock...the first person to dismount with the whip still in thier mouth and present to the judge, and then then take the whip out and hand it to the judge, wins...also relay races like human relay but on horse back....

If you want more family and popular fun,add things children and non-race types can enjoy! Invite a drill team or sheriff's possee to open with a color guard and a prayer for the troops.Encouraging family's and average horses might expand your list to include a costume class - and don't forget  to  donate the proceeds to a charity for some classes to attract the media and special interests that make a show successful.
