I have just recently put out flyers on people around my block and I have had several people ask me to baby-sit their children...I want the kids to think I am fun and I want to play fun games with them.

Any games or activities that you suggest would be fun to play?

Thanks!

  2. who can keep quiet longest?

i don't know what its called, but there's this game 4 a bunch of little kids sitting in a circle  where one kid has a little ball or stuffed animal or something (it just has to be small) and he or she walks around the circle and drops the ball behind someone and has to run around the circle and make it back to the person's spot without getting tagged.

there's also another one for older kids where u have a circle and the person says to the person on the left "would u like a ---?"  (insert noun)  the person on the left says "a what?"  the starting person says "a ---"  person on left says "thank u" turns and says 2 person on THEIR left and says "would u like a ---?"  person who was asked this  asks "a what?" next person turns and says to original "a what?"  original says "a ---"  that person turns and says "a ---"  THAT person says "thank u"  and so on down the circle.  sometimes helps to actually pass something.  to make harder, pass two items seperate ways or call the item a "what"

    srry sound so mixed up

  3. Depends on the ages. I have a game that I play with my 8 year old nephew called 13th Dead End Street. It is like clue except with traps and your are trying to get the inheritance. Funny game.

  4. Try this web site:http://kid-games-to-play.blogspot.com/

  5. its not really a game. but if your able to do finger paintings with them at the dinning room table they LOVE that! parents love getting pictures theyre kids made while theyre out. its fun if you also do one. lol

  6. For that age range you'll need a variety of games.  The younger ones will love games such as "peek-a-boo", pat a cake, and the "where's your nose, your ears, etc." sorts of games.

The pre-schooler age range will most likely enjoy games such as Memory, as well as puzzles.

With the older ones you will be able to play many board games, depending on what they have or what you have.  Consider Connect 4, Mancala, chess, chutes and ladders, junior scrabble, checkers, battleship, and all kinds of card games.

My grandchildren in that age range also love outdoor games, making and using play dough, blowing bubbles, painting, and various water games and activities.

Ask the parents about games and see if they can give you some ideas about the sorts of games their kids like.

  7. Hmm.Hide and seek would be apt enough for them. But maybe you don't wanna play that. Then we always have our card games of uno and other stuff. As these children are kinda small, they should love the game of snakes and ladders.Ludo is also good. What about carrom?Or chess?Maybe they aren't good enough to play chess. But you can always take it easy on them. And what about the game where you knock down skittles. It's an all-time favourite. And the teeny tiny tots will be happy enough with you carrying them around till you're tired and giving them some safe toys.Maybe the bigger children can read but i don't think there are many children in this world interested in reading.Hmmmm...video games.Modern children, modern games.Well, well,i guess that's enough for games. Now you could also watch a movie.Enough,i hope.Is mine the best answer????!!!!I sure hope so.

  8. depend on the children.

why dont you start out by asking them what they're intrested in?

  9. Depends very much on the age.  I babysit 8-11 year olds and we play Life, Clue, Monoply.  But you can never go wrong with playing cards (go fish, old maid, etc.).  I also like to do dance competitions & coloring comptetions (I never pick a winner just say... oh I really like x*x on your drawing and I like zzz on yours so it's a tie.)  I bring stuff over to the kids house, like I went to a local arts & crafts store and bought stuff that was cheap, fun, easy, and not too messy.  If you go outside you can play games like drip, drip, drop/duck, duck, goose, red light, green light and any other games.

If you don't know what to do with the kids think about what you did at their age and do that.

  10. depend on the age first.

I have a game call music chairs. Music chairs are for children age 5-8. Older kids can play cards. Babys can play peek a boo. Hope it works!

  11. Toddlers love it when you sing with them.  They especially like the songs with hand gestures... 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed (or swinging in the tree), alice the camel, the baby bumblebee song, I'm a little teapot.

Kids in those age ranges also LOVE stories read to them.  Go to the park, use the sprinkler in the yard, don't spray them, let them spray you, lol.

Kids in the older end to what you're talking about like to play cards, jumping rope, tag, red light green light.

You can do puzzles with them, arts and crafts.

Try to think back to your own childhood and the things you liked.
