  8. Scrabble is great but it takes some time to learn some good words for competetive play. Balderdash, Scattergories, and Monopoly are all great classic games, and if it's more like a monsoon than a rainy day, where it's going to be raining for about three days, you might want to try Risk, a marathon game.

But finally, one of the greatest activities is ping-pong. It's fun no matter what your level of play is.

  9. Scrabble, Texas Holdem, if you have a small group, Monopoly, Balderdash...

  10. well in a class, you can play heads up 7 up, board games, cherades, anything that you can play that interacts with others

  11. scattergories.

  12. board games, hide n go seek inside, paper basketball

  13. Scrabble, Boggle, Yahtzee, Poker, Ouija Board, Trivial Pursuit.

  14. Mud football, paper football, video games, board games, fly paper airplanes.  all with hot coco.

  15. depends on who you are playing with and on how hard it is raining but scrabble is a fun game to play and you can have fun playing sequence play a little gin rummy and the day will fly by

  16. I love Cranium, Balderdash, Pictionary, and Taboo.  They are so much fun!

  17. Stratego, Connet Four, Monoploy, Scrabble, Bingo, Go Fish, Twister, Magic Kingdom, Rummikub, Sorry!, Risk, Old Maid, Solitare, Viddeo Games, and Scene It?

  18. Apples to Apples, a board game- with 3 or more people (and so easy!), and Dominoes - which is hard to learn but so addictive when you get the directions down!

  19. Scrabble is the best of all, especially if you can play with someone whose skills are about the same as yours.  If you can get a foursome together it is hard to beat Bridge.  For a fast paced game try Mancala - it looks and seems very simple but is actually amazingly complex, and easy for kids to learn.  Recently I have played a little Texas Holdem and enjoyed that.  Checkers and Chess will never lose their appeal.   Monopoly and Life are great, especially if there are young people who need a game to play.  When my kids were young Connect Four was a favorite with them.  I hope these thoughts help.
