That guy that said crime is bad is wrong.   It is the same where ever you go.   Just be careful where you at and what your doing and you will be fine.  Things can happen anywhere.   But ask some locals where the good places are.

Going to LA? pack a gun or you will get jacked.

Los Angeles is America's armpit. It's not all airbrushed Hollywood movies.

However, near San Diego in Escondido the San Deigo Wild Animal Park is nice.

The Getty Museum is amazing! And the planetarium is great too.

Go to the Beach, I recommend La jolla in san Diego. I went Kayaking there. Go to all the amusement parks. Like Six Flags, Knotts, and Disneyland.
