Depends on how old but I like Jekyll & Hyde's.  If you are under 21 and a movie fan planet hollywood is pretty cool also the hard rock cafe both on time square.  Dave and

Busters is an arcade with a resturant and bar fun if your into that type of stuff.

I guess it depends on your definition of "fun" -

There's Mars 2112, it's sort of an outer-space themed restaurant where you "ride" on a spaceship to get to the restaurant on Mars, the food is all space-named, there are video-games to play, and then you "beam" out of the restaurant afterwards.

Ellen's Stardust Diner on Broadway (49th/50th St. or so) has singing waiters and waitresses, that's kind of fun.  They're mostly actors working as waiters while they try to make it into Broadway shows...

Ellen's Stardust - 1650 Broadway

The Eerie Pub chain has several restaurants - Jekyll & Hyde's, the Slaughtered Lamb (werewolf-themed) and one other - there are spooky animatronic things in the restaurant that come to life, and the restrooms are hidden in the bookshelves.  The place is impossible to get into on Halloween, but now it might not be so bad.

Lucky Cheng's Restaurant - it's where all the waiters are dressed in drag.  Like I said, it depends on your definition of "fun" -

Barcade in Williamsburg, Brooklyn - supposed to have a great beer selection and lots of arcade games from the 80's.

Tony DiNapolis in Times Square has a great atmosphere (especially downstairs on the weekends).  Huge portions of Italian food!

Try Carmines.  It is near Times Square.  It is great for a group of people because the food portions are big enough for about 4 people.  You can purchase a few different things and share if you have a group.  If you go, you MUST try the Titanic for dessert.  It is HUGE and AWESOME!!  (Expensive too........but big enough for a crowd.)

Mars 2112, Dave & Busters is great, Jekyll and Hydes, Planet Hollywood, so many theme restaurants.  Girl party - go to American girl for their brunch.
