What are some fun things to do in Israel?

My friends and I have gotten bored of the beach and the usual shopping. Does anyone have any suggestions of stuff to do in Israel at affordable prices?

There is so much to do in Israel. Off the top of my head, here are my top 10 things to do in Israel:

1) Visit Jerusalem- no matter what religion you are, you have people like you there, and if not, it's still a great city. while you are there, visit Hezekiah's tunnels

2) visit Tel-Aviv- the place is so active, and it has great beaches. very fun and lively city

3) The Dead Sea- nothing to say, so much fun, just go there

4) Eilat- the city is energetic and very pretty. great city

5) Golan Heights- specifically the Mount Hermon where you can go skiing

6) Drive through the Ramon Crater, which takes up close to half the area of Israel, has has many cool animals, like ibexes, which can be spotted

7) Ashdod and Ashkelon- two great coastal cities

8) see Masada- very interesting and great history

10) see Yad Va'shem- I know it is in Jerusalem, but I have to single it out, because the way the people there show the Holocaust is so moving, it's worth singling out. Very moving.

I am assuming your going with MachHach or Achva or Yad Be Yad... or the like.  If thats the case these orginazaions are very responsible and careful.  I know many people who have done these programs and most Loved them.

Ancient Water (Mei Kedem) in caesaria as well

The Caesarea Ralli Museum

go to various markets around israel eg the carmel mkt and sheinkin st

there are many museums in tel aviv eg Museum of the Jewish Diaspora (Bet Hatefutsoth) and other art galleries

go and see shows at habima

when in haifa go to Baha'i Gardens and Golden Dome

The German Colony

Mount Carmel National Park

go to Akko (Acre)

you can spend the day in Old City Jaffa

you can go for hikes and walks

the above are just a few examples of what you can do when you are bored

there are many many other great things to do

Here are some things Ive done which were really great...(although I'm not sure where you are and if these places are near you, or if you're a tourist/native)

-Repelling

-The museum of the blind

-Yad Veshem

-Chevron tour

-Kotel tunnel tours

-hiking is always great (ein gedi...etc)

-The Palmach

-Giv'at Hatachmoshet (Museum of the 67 war)

-chizkiyahu tunnels (in the city of David)

-rafting/kayaking (a BLAST)

-Biblical zoo

Have you gone snorkelling (even just swimming is amazing) in Eilat?  How about floating in the dead sea?  Pretty standard tourist stuff that is actually really worth while.

Walk from Tel Aviv to Yafo and eat the tastiest hummus and talk to the locals.
