  1. Learn to surf!

  2. Get surfing lessons, go to a volcano, but most of all try to find a local and befriend them. I did when I went and she took me to a bonfire down by the water. It was great! Also go to Mamas Fish House> 5 star restaurant- Amazing and so many stars go there! It was deffintally worth the price!

And just enjoy the view and kindness of the people! You're going to have so much fun! I love it there

  3. are you serious?

  4. There are a lot of outdoor activities that show you the real Maui-  swimming, biking, hiking, sightseeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, golfing, water-skiing, boating, boogie boarding, surfing, parasailing, horseback riding, golf, fishing, windsurfing, jet-skiing, fishing, sailing, whale center, aquarium, snorkeling, the trip to Hana, wineries, and sunset cruises & luaus.

People come to Maui for beaches and watersports - the island has some of Hawaii's best windsurfing and boardsurfing, as well as plenty of good swimming, snorkeling and bodysurfing. Kamaole beaches are one of the best in Maui! The water is turquoise blue, with gentle waves. It's perfect for kids. Surfing is good at Maalaea Pipeline, on the southern side of Maalaea Bay- one of the world's top 10 areas. Beginning surfers can take lessons in Kihei, a short distance away. The best diving & snorkeling is the sunken volcanic crater of nearby Molokini, where fish are tame and the water is very clear. For beach snorkeling, the easily accessible Black Rock at Kaanapali is good. There is also snorkeling at the beaches in Kihei, and nearby Wailea. There are many different snorkeling and scuba boat trips out of nearby Maalaea, as well as dinner, snorkeling, sunset, and cocktail sailings. Although the water's the place to be on Maui, there's also a lot to do inland. Haleakala National Park has some incredible hiking through its volcanic crater, and the whole island has many nature walks and hikes. Haleakala is also popular with horseback riders, and cyclists enjoy coasting 38 miles down the steep mtn. You can hang-glide from Haleakala to the coast, a beautiful descent of nearly 10,000’. Io valley is beautiful for hiking.  http://www.stayinparadise.com/thingstodo...

  5. swim in the big blue thing

  6. Drive up Mount Haleakala......the volcano on Maui. Go take surfing lessons in Lahina called goofy surf school i think. Go to a Luau....i dont know how to spell that. I have been to Maui 5 times. its an excellent place to go with family. Also go to see the Iou Needle. Or how bout driving through The Road to Hana. That is a wicked tight road that you drive your car up and there are beaches on the way and then there are amazing spots to take photos from. If anyone from your family is scared of those tight roads then i would not recommend it.

  7. take some advice from the locals =]

  8. go to the beach
