What are some fun things to do in Sydney?

i want to find somewhere fun that I can go with my friends. It has to be cheap and something you can actually DO, not like, a movie or a museum where you just sit there.

Anywhere near or in the city is fine, we can't go to each others' houses because we live too far apart ....

And we're too young to paintball/laser skirmish :(

beach in summer, not this time of year though.

Parks and play games, swimming in heated pool (cause it's winter now) at an aquatic centre, shopping, go out for lunch, play a sport with them, fishing.
