  1. You have picked two great provinces to visit. Let's start with Nova Scotia. You do not say how old you are but our National Parks do not discriminate - they are enjoyed by one and all. Among the things you can do: incredible opportunities to hike or walk, beach-comb, camp, canoe, cycle, surf, bird-watch, and hunt for fossils.

When I think of Nova Scotia, one of the first things that pops into my head is Ocean. And if I think Ocean sports I think of surfing (among other things). And when I think of surfing, I think of the Lawrencetown Beaches - a magnet for International surfers as well as the home grown variety. And while I personally would not do it, there really are people who surf here in the winter! Brrrrr! There are other places to surf like Cow Bay or you can google "Nova Scotia + surfing". Oh yeah - about that winter surfing, go to this page and double click on the 2nd picture to enlarge it! :o)

Of course where you have ocean, you have boats of all sizes and varieties. Myself I am partial to the Tall Ships. Well take a look at the tall ships

and then maybe plead, beg, whine, sniffle or whatever works with your parents to come back next year for the Festival. It's in July next year.

There are dozens of good reasons to visit Lunenburg and The Bluenose II is one of them. Check out the schedule and maybe you can find a day that fits in for a trip on it.

I could write a book and still not get all the good stuff about Lunenburg - a UNESCO World Heritage site so I'll give you a website to visit.

If Lunenburg is a quaint little town, Halifax is a big city with all the good things cities have PLUS a history like no other. Check it out here http://www.halifaxinfo.com/historic-hali...

I have not begun to scratch the surface. I'll leave it to you to google places like Digby and Yarmouth and Cape Breton.

Prince Edward Island is much smaller a province than Nova Scotia. It is famous for Anne of Green Gables

    PEI National Park

    Port la Joye

    and of course, Confederation Bridge

Well that's a long way from everything, but it should get you started.  Have a grand time!
