  1. The Table Rock complex is finishing up a renovation and expansion for its views is also the site of the Journey Behind the Falls attraction and the new Niagara's Fury attraction.  I didn't see you mention Marineland, the Butterfly Conservatory and the Bird Aviary.  Since you didn't mention the Skylon Tower, how about eating a meal up there in either of their windowed restaurants? The meals in the Revolving Dining room start at $26 for lunch and $40 for dinner. The Summit Suite Dining Room's lunch buffet is $28 and the dinner buffet is $35-$40. However, you're there more for the spectacle and the surroundings

  2. Niagara-on-the-lake is a gorgeous little town about 20 minutes away.  Such an old feel to it.  there is plenty of shopping, scenery, Fort george is always a fun place to stop.  tehre are winery tours and tastings, the Shaw Festival is always a good place to catch a play.  There is also the Butterfly conservatory along the way, that is ALWAYS fun, although very humid inside, it is rainforest conditions so perpare yourself for that.

You could try the jetboat tours, always fun.  there is old fort niagara across the river (on the us side) that is a good time.  Toronto is about an hour to an hour 20 minutes away and there are endless possibilities there as well.

  3. I was just there and in addition to the Maid of the Mist we did the Cave of the Winds walk.

We went to the building by the Maid of the Mist ride and got a book of 6 or so things to do around the Niagara Falls area for $30. At the Welcome Center, which is where you can park (for $10!) they will try to sell you a so called deal for $180 a person that is basically a 4 hour tour of Niagara Falls which also includes the Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds and several other things. (This was all on the USA side of the Falls).

We also went to the Falls at night when they have the lights behind the falls. On Friday nights they also have fireworks, we went to them and they aren't even worth it.

Something we wanted to do, but ended up not doing because it was $56 per person was the Whirlpool Jet Boat. It's an hour long trip and looked like a lot of fun!

  4. I live right beside Niagara so i can pretty much tell you how to avoid all the typical tourist trap's. If you want a good time and are on a budget, buy the Great Gorge Adventure Pass. This will cover Maid Of The Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, The Falls Incline Railway, Butterfly Conservatory, the People Mover Shuttle Bus and the White Water Walk. The new season pass has dicsount coupon's for the Sir Adam Beck Power Station, The Spanish Aerocar and a discount for the latest attraction Niagara's Fury located beside the Horshoe Falls. If you are on a budget, some freebie thing's to see are the Botanical Gardens, Niagara Glen, the Floral Clock and the Daredevil Museum located inside the Imax. Also, goto the Buddhist Temple located accross form the White Water Walk. The have free tour's of the temple, A must see!!  Avoid any restaurant's near Clifton Hill or Near The Falls. Total rip off! Have some fun and goto the Flying Saucer Diner or Mick and Angelo's located out on Lundys Lane. The Flying Saucer has 99 cent breakfast if you are there before 10am. If you want a nice Hotel to stay at that is super cheap, stay at the Blackstone Inn. Great rates and a 2 minute walk to Clifton Hill. Great Staff and very Clean with a heated pool and internet.  I personally know the owner, Highly recommended!!!! If you want even more fun, buy the Clifton Hill Fun Pass, located right in front of the Niagara Skywheel. Save's you money seeing each attraction separately as is the same for the Great Gorge Pass. Hope you have a great time on your trip on your and all this info helped you. Last but not least, try out the Jet boats. Well worth the money.  Or if you head up to the new Fallsview Casino, accross the street, you can do some indoor Skydiving. Enjoy and good luck.
