  1. let her help you with EVERYTHING. even if she is making the thing take 3 times longer than it would have. making sandwiches for lunch, making the beds, sweeping the floors, putting stamps on envelopes, changing the tv channel, picking up toys, etc... that keeps her busy, and you still get work done. plus she can stop helping at any time when she gets bored.

parks are great. invite some kids her age over to play with her. they'll tire each other out. :)

    play-doh is a great idea.

  2. make some homemade playdough-it's easy-there are recipes everywhere online, make a fort out of furniture cushions, puzzles-also can be homemade, teach her how to clean-up(singing the barney clean-up song works wonders), give her a bath, take a walk, online games(fisher-price has a good game to teach abc's), play dress-up with mommy's clothes...i could go on forever but these should get you through one day, right?

  3. Finger painting

    Playing with bubbles

Cooking - not actual oven stuff obviously but getting them to help with mixing or giving them a bit of dough to play with entertains them.

Taking her to a play barn type of place

I all else fails and you're ready to drop a children's video aimed at pre-schoolers

  4. My professor told me once that a child being energetic is normal for their age because they want to explore new things. But you should also maintain or balance them on finding new stuffs because to much or giving them a one big blast of everything might lead your child in boredom or as you said easily get bored. Gradually expose her to some new things that she haven't done or see, if the child gets bored again then shift in a new things again gradually.

You may want to try playing with her, go outside to meet some  children, join some day care center activities, etc.

Note that too much exposure of a child to any stuff including playing the child, cuddling, tickling, etc may lead to boredom too. The sign that the child is done with something or bored is that the child is not attentive to you anymore, trying to avoid the stuff, trying not to go near on that thing.

  5. shake um.

  6. 2 year olds love to help and be involved in everything you do so let her help when you vaccumn or put a chair up to the sink to help you with the dishes etc. Once the chores are done you'll have time to play. They also love messy stuff! Try making goop out of cornflour and water or get a tub of  water with different scoops and containers. Try Dress ups, or make a cubby with blankets over your kitchen table, tea parties, cooking - making rumballs or cookies. Go for a walk and pick flowers and catch bugs...

  7. I Have A 2yr Old Cousin.

Give Her Paper And A Pen.

Or Just Make Up Random Games.

    Or Let Her Help You.
