What are some fun things to see on the way on my roadtrip (From Texas to Arizona)?

Me & my best friend are planning a road trip from Dallas, Tx to:

-Red River, NM

-The four corners (New mexico, arizona, colorado, & Utah)

-Then Flagstaff, AZ to see the grand canyon.

I would just stop at whatever strikes your fancy while your on the road.  The Palo Duro canyon will be on your way and depending on what road you're taking through NM you should check out a pueblo and see Santa Fe even if you just drive through.  If you plan too much before you leave though, you'll be running on a strict schedual to see everything you've got planned.  Better to just plan a few and pick others on your way.  Have fun!
